Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines the acceptable and prohibited uses of the SyncHQ Pro™ platform and all related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by DECISYN™ ("DECISYN," "we," "us," or "our"). This AUP applies to all users, including account holders, administrators, technicians, and any person who accesses or uses the Service.

This AUP is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violations of this policy may result in suspension or termination of your account.

2. Acceptable Uses

SyncHQ Pro is designed exclusively for legitimate service business operations. You may use the Service for the following purposes:

  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Managing customer records, contact information, service history, and communications in the ordinary course of your service business
  • Scheduling and Dispatch: Creating, managing, and optimizing job schedules, dispatching technicians, and coordinating service appointments
  • Invoicing and Billing: Generating invoices, processing estimates, managing billing records, and tracking accounts receivable for services rendered
  • Payment Processing: Accepting and processing customer payments through integrated payment gateways (e.g., Stripe) in compliance with applicable payment card industry standards
  • Communication: Sending transactional SMS messages, emails, and notifications to your customers for appointment reminders, status updates, invoices, and other service-related communications
  • Inventory Management: Tracking parts, equipment, and materials used in the delivery of your services
  • Reporting and Analytics: Generating business performance reports, revenue analytics, technician utilization metrics, and other operational insights
  • AI-Powered Tools: Using AI-assisted features such as smart scheduling, predictive maintenance recommendations, and automated follow-ups in accordance with the Service's intended functionality

3. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service for any purpose that is unlawful, harmful, or otherwise prohibited by this AUP. The following activities are strictly prohibited:

3.1 Illegal Activities

You must not use the Service to:

  • Conduct any activity that violates applicable laws, including but not limited to the Indian Penal Code (IPC), the Information Technology Act 2000 (IT Act), and the Prevention of Money Laundering Act 2002 (PMLA)
  • Facilitate or promote fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, or any other financial crime
  • Process payments for illegal goods or services, or facilitate transactions that circumvent applicable sanctions or export control laws
  • Engage in or facilitate tax evasion, fraudulent invoicing, or misrepresentation of financial records
  • Store, transmit, or process data related to illegal activities, including drug trafficking, human trafficking, or exploitation of minors

3.2 Harmful Content

You must not use the Service to store, transmit, or distribute:

  • Content that is defamatory, libellous, slanderous, or otherwise tortious under applicable Indian law
  • Malware, viruses, trojan horses, worms, ransomware, spyware, or any other malicious code or software designed to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to computer systems
  • Content that infringes upon the intellectual property rights of any third party, including copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, or patents
  • Obscene, pornographic, or sexually explicit content as defined under Section 67 of the IT Act 2000
  • Content that promotes hatred, discrimination, or violence against any individual or group based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin

3.3 Security Violations

You must not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other user accounts, computer systems, or networks connected to the Service through hacking, password mining, credential stuffing, or any other means
  • Conduct vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, or security assessments of the Service without prior written authorization from DECISYN
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, underlying algorithms, or architecture of the Service
  • Launch or facilitate denial-of-service (DoS) or distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks against the Service or any related infrastructure
  • Forge, spoof, or manipulate TCP/IP packet headers, email headers, or any part of a message to disguise the origin of content transmitted through the Service
  • Interfere with the proper operation of the Service, including overloading servers, flooding networks, or disrupting service for other users

3.4 Abuse of the Service

You must not:

  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits, evade enforcement actions, or otherwise violate this AUP
  • Use the Service in a manner that consumes excessive computational resources, storage, bandwidth, or API capacity to the detriment of other users
  • Deploy automated bots, scrapers, crawlers, or scripts to interact with the Service unless expressly authorized through our official API and in compliance with published rate limits
  • Resell, sublicense, lease, or redistribute access to the Service or any part thereof without prior written consent from DECISYN
  • Conduct performance benchmarking or competitive analysis of the Service and publish or disclose the results to any third party without prior written consent from DECISYN
  • Use the Service to develop a competing product or service, or assist any third party in doing so

3.5 Communication Abuse

You must not use the Service's communication features to:

  • Send unsolicited bulk messages (spam), including promotional emails, SMS messages, or notifications to individuals who have not opted in to receive such communications
  • Engage in harassment, threats, intimidation, or abuse directed at any individual, including customers, employees, or other users of the Service
  • Violate the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) regulations regarding unsolicited commercial communications, including DND (Do Not Disturb) registry requirements, or the CAN-SPAM Act for communications sent to recipients in the United States
  • Misrepresent your identity, impersonate another person or entity, or falsely claim affiliation with any person, organization, or business
  • Violate the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, including requirements related to user-generated content and grievance redressal
  • Send communications containing false or misleading information about your business, services, qualifications, or licensing status

3.6 Data Abuse

You must not:

  • Harvest, collect, scrape, or aggregate data from the Service or other users' accounts without authorization, whether through automated means or manual processes
  • Use data obtained through the Service for competitive intelligence, market research benefiting competitors, or any purpose other than the legitimate operation of your service business
  • Sell, trade, rent, or otherwise commercially exploit customer data, user data, or any other data obtained through the Service to third parties
  • Circumvent, disable, or interfere with data access controls, privacy settings, encryption mechanisms, or security features of the Service
  • Transfer personal data outside of India without ensuring adequate data protection safeguards as required by applicable data protection laws

4. Resource Limits

To ensure fair and equitable access to the Service for all users, the following resource limits apply. These limits are subject to change and may vary by subscription plan:

"Fair use" means usage that is reasonable and consistent with the intended purpose of the feature for a service business of comparable size to yours. DECISYN reserves the right to contact you if your usage significantly exceeds typical patterns and to apply reasonable restrictions if necessary.

5. Monitoring and Enforcement

DECISYN is not obligated to monitor all content or activity on the Service. However, we reserve the right to monitor, review, and investigate any use of the Service to ensure compliance with this AUP, our Terms of Service, and applicable law.

If we determine, in our sole discretion, that a violation of this AUP has occurred or is likely to occur, we may take one or more of the following enforcement actions without prior notice:

  • Warning: Issue a written warning identifying the violation and requesting immediate corrective action
  • Suspension: Temporarily suspend your access to the Service, in whole or in part, pending investigation and resolution of the violation
  • Termination: Permanently terminate your account and all associated access to the Service
  • Content Removal: Remove, disable, or restrict access to any content or data that violates this AUP
  • Reporting: Report the violation to appropriate law enforcement authorities, regulatory bodies, or other relevant third parties, including providing your account information and data as required by law

The severity of the enforcement action will be proportionate to the nature, gravity, and recurrence of the violation. DECISYN will make reasonable efforts to notify you of enforcement actions, except where doing so would compromise an investigation, violate legal requirements, or pose a risk to the Service or other users.

6. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, or if you believe that the Service is being used for any prohibited purpose, please report it immediately by contacting:

When reporting a violation, please include as much detail as possible, including the nature of the violation, relevant account information, supporting evidence (such as screenshots or URLs), and the date and time of the observed activity. All reports will be treated confidentially to the extent permitted by law.

DECISYN will acknowledge receipt of your report within 48 hours and will investigate promptly. We may contact you for additional information during the investigation process.

7. Compliance with Indian Law

All use of the Service must comply with applicable Indian laws and regulations, including but not limited to:

  • Information Technology Act, 2000 (IT Act): Including provisions related to unauthorized access (Section 43), computer-related offences (Section 66), identity theft (Section 66C), cheating by personation (Section 66D), and publication of obscene material (Section 67)
  • Indian Penal Code (IPC): Including provisions related to fraud (Section 420), forgery (Sections 463-477A), criminal intimidation (Section 503), and defamation (Section 499)
  • Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA): Including obligations related to the collection, processing, storage, and transfer of personal data of Indian citizens and residents, as well as data principal rights and consent requirements
  • CERT-In Directions under Section 70B: Including requirements for incident reporting (within 6 hours of detection), log retention (180 days), and KYC compliance for service providers as mandated by the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team

Users operating outside of India are additionally responsible for compliance with the laws and regulations of their respective jurisdictions. Where there is a conflict between Indian law and local law, the more restrictive requirement shall apply.

8. Changes to This Policy

DECISYN reserves the right to modify this Acceptable Use Policy at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on the Service and updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will provide at least 30 days' advance notice via email to the primary account holder.

Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. If you do not agree with the changes, you must discontinue use of the Service before the effective date.

We encourage you to review this AUP periodically to stay informed about acceptable and prohibited uses of the Service.
